After visiting Coptic Cairo, we go to Khan el-Khalili Market. The place is buzzing and there are stalls at every turn, in every hidden corner. I don't particularly want to buy anything, but am delighted at the colours and antiques - I have a field day taking photos!

I come across 5 guys each trying to lure me into their stores to see shawls, handbags or antiques.

At this market, I'm hit with a very cheesy pick-up line:

"Excuse me, you dropped something"
"What?" I ask, looking around me.
He replies, "My heart!"

While my mum spends time in an antique-y jewelry store, I go to the store next door. The man in the store has a kind face. He shows me some items and points to a small scarab beetle, telling me it's for good luck.

"I think I'm lucky today," he says.
"Why?" I ask.
"Because I met you!"
"Thank you!"
"You have face like an angel," he tells me.

I go back to my mum and soon we're ready to leave.

I pass a store selling magnets, which I want to buy. My mum and I feel like Dana is rushing us. She's meeting her husband after she's done with us, so we feel like she's trying to finish work quickly.  Soon, the driver arrives to pick us up and we head back to the hotel.
