I'm still alive

Some (very sweet) people have asked me about my blog and how my writing has been going recently. My answer? "I really need to get down to it."

To be very honest, I've been procrastinating for the longest time to write this post. I was beginning to feel like a "retired writer" and yesterday, I watched an Oprah interview with JK Rowling (creator of the Harry Potter series) and when asked if she'll stop writing, the author told the Queen of Talk that she will never stop. Almost as if it wasn't even an option... to which Oprah replied, "that's what makes you a writer!"

So I thought to myself, "I can't call myself a writer if I don't write." which is as wrong as calling myself a blogger if I don't blog.

I've said that my blog has been collecting dust and cobwebs, but in all honesty, I just haven't felt the need or more importantly the want to blog. I'll be exploring why this happened in posts following this one.

Attention: Wine (and non) Drinkers

I just got this via BBM from Alvita :)
To my friends who enjoy a glass of wine...And those who don't.

As Ben Franklin said:
In wine there is wisdom,
In beer there is freedom,
In water there is bacteria.

In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have demonstrated that if we drink 1 litre of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. Coli) - bacteria found in feces. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop..

However,
We do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer (or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

Remember:
Water = Poop
Wine = Health
Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid than to drink water and be full of shit.

There is no need to thank me for this valuable information:

Sheila ki Jawani / Single Ladies

This was done as a class project where students had to synchronize an English music video with a Hindi Song. Here is Beyonce's Single Ladies edited with Sheila ki Jawani from Tees Maar Khan. Very cool!
