Mum and I spend about 2 or 3 hours lying on the bed and talking about all kinds of things. We e-mail, chat and talk frequently on the phone, but seeing each other face to face is quite different.

By this time of the day, I'm feeling down. I'm sad that my mum's leaving and that our Egyptian dream holiday is wrapping up and coming to an end.

I need to recharge my airtime. We figure the hotel gift shop must sell it, so we go back to ol' Mohammad and Hussain.
