Egypt (36) Temple of Kom Ombo

The Temple of Kom Ombo is known as the Double Temple because there were courts, halls and sanctuaries built for two sets of gods. The southern half was dedicated to the crocodile god, Sobek (god of fertility & creator of the world). The northern half was for the falcon god, Horus.































This was Cleopatra's bath!
