On Friday morning after breakfast, Dana meets us for our tour of Coptic Cairo. This is a part of "Old Cairo" and includes the Babylon Fortress, the Coptic Museum, the Hanging Church, the Greek Church of St George and various other Coptic churches.

It is said that many of the current buildings of the churches in Coptic Cairo were built after the Muslim conquest of Egypt.

Old Roman Walls



The Hanging Church is one of Cairo's most famous Coptic Orthodox churches. It was first built in the 3rd of 4th century AD.
