Day 2 - Makati, Tuesday Jan 27 2009

We had to go down to Makati for a bit on Tuesday morning. This area of Metro Manila is also known as the financial and economic hub of the Philippines. There are a number of five star hotels and modern shopping malls. Quite different compared to some of the city slums I'd been to.

We took a bus from Makati to Baclaran - as you can see, it's quite cramped!
