It's November 11 or
11/11 which means it's
Pepero Day in Korea. It is named after a Korean snack (Pepero) which is a pretzel stick dipped in chocolate & nuts etc. It is celebrated on this day because the date (
11/11) resembles four sticks of Pepero! It is celebrated the same way Valentines Day is and young couples often give e'other Pepero gift boxes. As with any other 'holiday'
Pepero Day has become very commercialized.
This was around 5pm yesterday.
Students buying Pepero from Family Mart.
That is so cute. I wonder if I have seen these sweets at the International market. The other day, I bought my daughter some Korean sweets
ReplyDeleteKorean snacks are really nice! Hope they have this at your Intl Market.. :)
